Information THI Studio accesses
THI Studio may access basic Google account information when an approved user signs in, including name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. When a YouTube channel owner separately authorizes reporting access, THI Studio may also access:
- YouTube channel identity and channel metadata.
- Public video and publishing information.
- Views, watch time, likes, comments, shares, and subscriber activity.
- Public comments and their associated video references.
- Authorization tokens needed to perform scheduled read-only reporting.
THI Studio does not request access to upload, edit, or delete YouTube content, and it does not request YouTube revenue or advertising access for this reporting feature.
How information is used
The information is used to:
- Authenticate approved THI Studio users.
- Create weekly and monthly doctor-brand performance reports.
- Display channel trends and selected content highlights.
- Summarize themes and recurring questions in public comments.
- Draft evidence-based recommendations for authorized THI teams.
- Monitor connector freshness, errors, and reporting quality.
Google and YouTube information is not used for advertising, sold, or made available as a public analytics service.
Storage and retention
THI Studio stores compact daily channel aggregates, generated reporting values, selected content references, summarized audience themes, and connector-health records. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage.
Successful raw provider responses are not permanently retained. Public YouTube comment text is processed in a bounded sample to create a summary and is not retained as a complete comment corpus after successful processing. Redacted connector failure details may be kept briefly for troubleshooting.
AI-assisted analysis
Authorized reporting data and bounded public-comment samples may be processed by service providers acting on The Health Institute's behalf to produce summaries and recommendations. AI output is treated as an interpretation; authoritative metrics are calculated deterministically from source data.
Sharing and access
Access is limited to approved THI Studio users who are channel owners, The Health Institute personnel, or authorized collaborators supporting the connected doctor brand. Information may be processed by contracted infrastructure, security, and AI service providers solely to operate THI Studio. THI Studio does not sell Google user data.
Security
THI Studio uses access controls, encrypted token storage, HTTPS, scoped read-only permissions, and limited data retention to protect connected information. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but The Health Institute limits access and collection to what is necessary for the reporting purpose described here.
Your choices and deletion requests
A channel owner may revoke THI Studio's Google authorization at any time through the third-party connections section of their Google Account. Revocation stops future authorized collection. A user or channel owner may also request disconnection or deletion of associated Google and YouTube data through The Health Institute's privacy contact process. Verified deletion requests and data that can no longer be verified as authorized will be deleted or de-identified within 30 days, except when retention is legally required.
Google API Services User Data Policy
THI Studio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
Contact and additional THI policies
Privacy questions, access requests, and deletion requests can be made using the contact instructions in The Health Institute's Privacy Policy . General use of THI services is also subject to The Health Institute's Terms of Service .
